- 0:23 | it put my money where my mouth is we’re
- 0:25 | going to open this set we’re going to
- 0:27 | open this set and we’re also going to be
- 0:30 | comparing the weha the Vera and the kipc
- 0:34 | screwdrivers in this video and we’re
- 0:37 | getting started right now I’ve got a
- 0:39 | terminal block and before I waste any
- 0:42 | more time we’re going to get the mega
- 0:44 | Pro Defender open also it looks like it
- 0:47 | has an ncv and came with batteries this
- 0:50 | thing was 80 bucks so I would appreciate
- 0:52 | you guys leave a like down below right

- 1:06 | okay I was content with my client
- 1:09 | screwdriver I went on this journey for
- 1:12 | you guys there is way too many people on
- 1:16 | YouTube that are talking about the Vera
- 1:18 | screwdrivers and yes they are
- 1:20 | comfortable but they are nowhere near
- 1:22 | the
- 1:23 | best if you look at actual electrician
- 1:27 | channels where they’re doing the work
- 1:29 | physic phally working in the field
- 1:32 | you’re going to see a lot more of them
- 1:33 | with the weha than you are the Vera this
- 1:37 | is probably a brand that certainly lives
- 1:39 | on YouTube and definitely the UK a lot
- 1:41 | of UK videos with these screwdrivers and
- 1:44 | honestly if you ask me the kipe
- 1:47 | screwdrivers actually feel
- 1:50 | better which is one of the reasons why
- 1:52 | we bought this Mega Pro look at the size
- 1:54 | of that handle
- 2:04 | it’s got the Palm saver cap improves
- 2:06 | comfortability retractable cartridge
- 2:08 | blah blah blah you guys can pause it and
- 2:11 | read if you want it’s a freaking
- 2:13 | screwdriver we know how to use them by
- 2:15 | now this is not that channel just going
- 2:17 | to blow smoke and tell you that all the
- 2:19 | screwdrivers are great most of the time
- 2:21 | they’re
- 2:23 | not we’ve also got instructions for the
- 2:25 | ncv we’re going to test this tell you
- 2:28 | right now there’s a lot of buttons on
- 2:30 | this man I like simple testers and I’ve
- 2:32 | also got a pet peeve with the reservoir
- 2:34 | tip up here that a lot of these testers
- 2:37 | do it’s the first thing to break if I
- 2:39 | can get one without a tip I’m going to
- 2:41 | get one this feels very cheap this feels
- 2:45 | a lot like
- 2:46 | a what brand was that back in the day it
- 2:50 | was green I don’t think it it wasn’t a
- 2:52 | green
- 2:56 | Le was it commercial electric that had
- 2:58 | these guys leave it in the comments
- 3:00 | below what was that one green ncv that
- 3:03 | almost everybody had that was a piece of
- 3:08 | garbage this has piece of garbage Vibes
- 3:11 | just just based on this cheap ABS you
- 3:14 | can hear it I’m already not
- 3:19 | impressed I do like that it’s branded
- 3:22 | with Defender just like the
- 3:25 | screwdriver it’s
- 3:28 | off it’s on
- 3:31 | it’s got a nice status there I like that
- 3:34 | actually it lets you know that it is
- 3:35 | ready to
- 3:37 | detect now it’s
- 3:41 | off it’s
- 3:45 | on o this might be the real
- 3:48 | deal now it’s
- 3:53 | off flashlight none of these modes work
- 3:56 | without it being on
- 4:00 | uh wow that’s actually you know what
- 4:02 | that’s not a bad
- 4:07 | flashlight so it’s got a flashlight and
- 4:09 | it’s got a status LED I do like this so
- 4:12 | far we’ve also got sensitivity mode and
- 4:15 | that is very easy to understand
- 4:17 | sensitivity mode on sensitivity mode off
- 4:20 | and then whether it’s on or off very
- 4:22 | clear and actually really
- 4:26 | responsive I will say I have some
- 4:28 | respect for this it’s it’s not confused
- 4:30 | on what it is there’s not a whole bunch
- 4:32 | of different mode settings with the same
- 4:35 | freaking button and it’s pretty simple
- 4:38 | to see what’s going
- 4:48 | on there we go we are certainly inserted
- 4:54 | there you can see we’re yes we are
- 4:56 | definitely
- 4:58 | energized and when we’re up
- 5:02 | here trly not sure you find the actual
- 5:07 | wire it turns from a yellow
- 5:12 | uncertainty to hey we certainly found it
- 5:16 | I do like that feature about this and
- 5:18 | then High sensitivity
- 5:20 | mode would be really good for reading
- 5:23 | through chords obviously just a quick
- 5:26 | detection I can’t really speak on the
- 5:28 | quality it doesn’t feel great I wouldn’t
- 5:30 | recommend you dropping this one wouldn’t
- 5:32 | recommend you dropping any of them when
- 5:35 | we look at the fluke you’re going to see
- 5:36 | why it is my favorite you can see where
- 5:38 | it’s like hey there’s a little bit of
- 5:39 | voltage here I’m not going to go ahead
- 5:41 | and beep or anything this thing is
- 5:43 | completely silent one of my favorite
- 5:45 | features about it when you find the
- 5:47 | voltage you can see where it just
- 5:48 | completely changes the color and the
- 5:52 | tone to vary it’s the lvd2 from fluke
- 5:57 | has a built-in flashlight of about I
- 5:59 | think 70
- 6:00 | lemons and is just one of the best ncvs
- 6:05 | I’ve ever used both of these are better
- 6:07 | than any Klein any green Le any anything
- 6:10 | that I’ve used um minus the Fleer or
- 6:15 | some of the ant probes
- 6:17 | uh how good are these are definitely
- 6:19 | better than any Klein you can buy on the
- 6:21 | Shelf better than any
- 6:22 | Milwaukee and I personally like both of
- 6:25 | these I still like my fluke more
- 6:33 | now this thing looks interesting okay so
- 6:37 | that oh
- 6:39 | okay that’s how you lock it in and out
- 6:42 | simple enough ooh it’s been
- 6:49 | stationary
- 6:51 | okay and then that just pops
- 6:56 | out oh man
- 7:02 | this this looks like a game
- 7:06 | changer it’s even
- 7:09 | got it’s even got a very nice control
- 7:13 | screwdriver tip look at that beautiful
- 7:15 | for
- 7:18 | plc’s how does it clip back
- 7:22 | in just like a mega Pro
- 7:25 | would rated 1,000 volts
- 7:31 | the grip feels just like it should not
- 7:34 | too big not too
- 7:36 | small um I will say this about the
- 7:41 | grip it’s interesting
- 7:44 | because nothing really stops me from
- 7:48 | sliding forward it does feel like a bit
- 7:52 | of a downhill race when you’re grabbing
- 7:55 | this the back spins like wow like the
- 7:58 | back actually
- 8:00 | freely
- 8:04 | spins so if you’re tightening something
- 8:07 | you can do this motion here I’ve
- 8:09 | tightened panel screws before like this
- 8:11 | leaning up there sometimes you’ll be
- 8:14 | tightening a screw and you’ll swear man
- 8:17 | that screw goes all the way to the
- 8:18 | neighbor’s house like you’re just you’re
- 8:20 | just spinning it for oh man that
- 8:21 | actually feels really good too so this
- 8:23 | right here that spins while this stays
- 8:26 | still kind of a game Cher when it comes
- 8:29 | the tightening things oh my goodness
- 8:31 | this is so cool one of my favorite
- 8:33 | things about one of the newer Kleins
- 8:35 | that came out is this feature but I
- 8:37 | haven’t had very good luck with Klein’s
- 8:40 | grips this feels pretty cool I kind of
- 8:44 | wish it had a little bit of something it
- 8:46 | needs a little bit
- 8:48 | of just just
- 8:50 | a almost like a recurve kind of to set
- 8:53 | my thumb on I
- 8:55 | guess something to kind of stop me from
- 8:58 | sliding forward
- 9:03 | when you when you grab it like a man
- 9:05 | here I mean it feels good it’s it’s a
- 9:07 | good feeling screwdriver you got the
- 9:09 | bumps so the bumps kind of stop you from
- 9:11 | sliding forward but it
- 9:15 | definitely I don’t know I got to use it
- 9:17 | more it does kind of have a spot here
- 9:19 | for your thumb that does sit nicely
- 9:22 | too that feels really good and the
- 9:25 | length of the handle is very
- 9:27 | acceptable for my standards anyway I
- 9:30 | prefer larger
- 9:33 | handles the best part about this is that
- 9:36 | the bits are in
- 9:39 | here let’s look at the shape on a bit
- 9:41 | and see if we can find anything wrong
- 9:42 | with
- 9:45 | it you know I got to tell
- 9:49 | you the shape
- 9:53 | is not bad at all this is a brand new
- 9:55 | terminal block so we can compare this
- 10:00 | we will unlock
- 10:03 | it put the screwdriver in there lock it
- 10:10 | down it’s lacking a little bit of length
- 10:12 | here that could be a problem for
- 10:14 | professionals
- 10:26 | industrial okay there we go now it slips
- 10:28 | now it slips over there cuz it’s not the
- 10:30 | proper
- 10:31 | screwdriver I want it to skip a couple
- 10:33 | of times and I want to look at the tip
- 10:36 | itself so we got to see is that metal
- 10:39 | from the screw or is that metal from the
- 10:44 | Fastener or the tip itself of the
- 10:48 | screwdriver the tip looks
- 10:51 | untouched which is good
- 10:57 | news very easy to pop them out
- 11:00 | out if we take this damaged breaker here
- 11:03 | okay so why does length
- 11:06 | matter that’s why length
- 11:10 | matters we can look all these
- 11:12 | screwdrivers on the table can go all the
- 11:14 | way back here to the farthest
- 11:19 | portion the lugs sit about here and then
- 11:22 | the back of this the screws actually
- 11:23 | screw into the lugs from the back side
- 11:25 | of the breaker here
- 11:35 | all these bits are the same length it’s
- 11:37 | easy to switch the bits
- 11:38 | out okay we are on the lug
- 11:43 | itself we’ve got good leverage
- 11:46 | here we’ve loosened the red wire here we
- 11:50 | can pop it
- 11:52 | out with plenty of length here on the
- 11:54 | back side of the
- 11:56 | breaker does go all the way in and reach
- 11:59 | with this bolts to the bus itself this
- 12:03 | screwdriver will have trouble
- 12:07 | reaching versus some of screwdrivers on
- 12:10 | the
- 12:12 | table breer’s making quite a bit of
- 12:14 | debris good thing we have our solar eye
- 12:21 | here nice so the grip is there it’s got
- 12:26 | good grip it does feel like a downhill
- 12:28 | race
- 12:29 | just a little bit when using it
- 12:33 | it’s it’s it’s very this way it’s hard
- 12:36 | to explain something to get used to not
- 12:40 | the worst
- 12:42 | thing
- 12:43 | but there is a feel to it could it
- 12:46 | replace my EDC clim we’re we’re still
- 12:49 | trying to figure it out if we look at
- 12:52 | the tips here the tips do have a
- 12:56 | taper so they are not going to
- 12:59 | grab like a glove when it comes to our
- 13:03 | squares we got our Square here we’ll go
- 13:05 | on this
- 13:07 | one I I’m a huge fan of being able to
- 13:11 | hold this on my palm and spin this while
- 13:15 | still maintaining contact with the
- 13:17 | screwdriver the whole time this is
- 13:20 | spinning in my palm it feels really
- 13:24 | natural and it just tightens right
- 13:27 | up and there we go there’s the cam out
- 13:29 | that I was looking for we spin it twice
- 13:32 | screw is completely tight and we are
- 13:36 | spinning that
- 13:38 | screwdriver can we not do that with a
- 13:40 | more
- 13:42 | parallel Vera or any other screwdriver
- 13:45 | on the table let’s see if we can get
- 13:46 | this that much tighter this screw is
- 13:49 | already stripped out and damaged can we
- 13:51 | get it that much tighter with the
- 13:55 | Vera answer is no it’s toast it’s also
- 13:58 | stri out we cannot loosen it here if I
- 14:02 | grab a Vera screwdriver and we go after
- 14:05 | it the
- 14:06 | Vera can actually loosen the
- 14:12 | screw no it can’t can the knipex loosen
- 14:16 | the
- 14:20 | screw no it can’t okay so the takeaway
- 14:23 | from there is
- 14:26 | that it’s irrelevant on how the thing
- 14:31 | fits the fact of the matter is you can
- 14:33 | tighten a screw so tight on this that
- 14:36 | you can do permanent damage so the
- 14:38 | answer is the fit on this is just fine
- 14:42 | now it’s probably a good time to break
- 14:44 | out the Cline to see if the Klein can
- 14:48 | unscrew any of these completely damaged
- 14:53 | screws the client has some of the best
- 14:55 | fit that I’ve ever seen
- 15:05 | ha got a sticker nice wasn’t expecting
- 15:08 | that I like o it’s not a sticker it is a
- 15:12 | branded
- 15:13 | pouch darn that’s okay I do like the
- 15:17 | pouch they also left us a
- 15:24 | snack let’s get them all in here the
- 15:28 | more waffles in a house of pancakes is
- 15:30 | definitely going on with Klein
- 15:34 | lately if you guys want me to review
- 15:37 | some clein stuff put in the comments

- 16:17 | here compared to a standard screwdriver
- 16:20 | pretty close it’s got a little bit less
- 16:22 | length but look at the real estate that
- 16:24 | we have on the
- 16:27 | handle does it matter that we lost some
- 16:31 | length not really cuz we’re in the back
- 16:33 | side of that breaker and we’re able to
- 16:35 | get our turns let’s see how the clein
- 16:38 | does tightening up terminals here’s a
- 16:40 | brand new one
- 16:42 | here the grip the horizontal or the
- 16:45 | vertical lines depend on how you’re
- 16:46 | holding the screwdriver really give you
- 16:49 | good traction while you’re using this it
- 16:52 | Contours down here for your thumb you
- 16:54 | don’t feel like you’re in a downhill
- 16:56 | race like this thing does
- 17:00 | and the action to flip the
- 17:02 | bit and keep you in the game right there
- 17:05 | is kind of
- 17:11 | unmatched just tighten a
- 17:17 | terminal more aggressive grip uh not as
- 17:21 | much comfort and less ergonomic but
- 17:24 | certainly made for the task
- 17:33 | I feel like that got tighter
- 17:36 | than any of these screwdrivers on the
- 17:39 | table and if it didn’t it’s the exact
- 17:41 | same can we back it
- 17:48 | out we’re unable to back it out we
- 17:51 | completely flattened it in there
- 17:53 | complete circle just like the rest of
- 17:55 | them
- 17:59 | I’m going to try what I think has the
- 18:01 | best tip here we’re going to go with the
- 18:10 | Vera it’s it’s the handle it makes you
- 18:13 | Cam it out a little bit faster because
- 18:14 | you’re not transferring the torque as
- 18:16 | easy and you can see where I can still
- 18:19 | back that up so we just
- 18:21 | slipped it’s not an ergonomic handle it
- 18:24 | really likes to slip when we go with the
- 18:27 | knipex let’s go to a new screw
- 18:29 | here definitely easier to hang on
- 18:33 | to and definitely going to transfer more
- 18:38 | torque definitely cammed out easier able
- 18:41 | to back it
- 18:44 | out so much easier to transfer the power
- 18:48 | when it matters with the clein there’s
- 18:50 | no doubt about
- 18:54 | it yes sir absolutely let’s see what the
- 18:58 | weha does because the weha has a longer
- 19:00 | shaft but the grip is very
- 19:06 | nice transfers a lot of power we’re
- 19:08 | starting to torque this thing in my hand
- 19:10 | cammed out before the clein did I’m
- 19:12 | going to try another screw up
- 19:24 | here definitely CES out easier than the
- 19:26 | Klein what does the Mega Pro do
- 19:31 | a lot of control here just spinning
- 19:36 | this transfers power nicely heavier
- 19:39 | screwdriver
- 19:40 | but just as good as the climb when it
- 19:43 | comes to actually tightening things
- 19:45 | surprising
- 19:48 | um the fact that everything is in this
- 19:52 | screwdriver it has a slip here it’s got
- 19:54 | really nice
- 19:55 | grip it’s fast enough to change the tips
- 19:58 | on
- 20:00 | it it’s th000 volt rated and this thing
- 20:03 | sits still while you’re using the
- 20:07 | screwdriver it’s definitely just as good
- 20:10 | as everything on the table right
- 20:13 | now which one do I like
- 20:19 | more I don’t know yet because I
- 20:22 | know I know how I feel about client’s
- 20:25 | blades and the quality of these blades
- 20:28 | spefic
- 20:29 | specifically this set here will last you
- 20:31 | for years years and years and
- 20:34 | years they’re big enough to not lose
- 20:37 | they’re easy enough to
- 20:39 | see there there’s a number of reasons
- 20:42 | why this
- 20:44 | set is better than multiple screwdriver
- 20:48 | sets
- 20:51 | even this is really nice to have I
- 20:54 | really like this
- 21:00 | it looks and feels just as good as the
- 21:03 | price that it came
- 21:06 | with so at least it
- 21:09 | delivered with
- 21:12 | that should we tighten some Sheetrock
- 21:14 | screws with this or
- 21:24 | something a lot of control a lot of
- 21:27 | transfer power
- 21:35 | a lot of
- 21:41 | grip are we flush we are flush actually

- 21:54 | fully and and that’s just with three

- 22:32 | useful size to have they gave us three
- 22:36 | flatheads which is pretty cool I do like
- 22:40 | the PLC driver it’s one of the first
- 22:42 | things that I noticed when I open this
- 22:46 | set this is a pocket
- 22:55 | screw there we go a little bit of weight
- 22:58 | behind
- 23:06 | the fits
- 23:13 | good it’s slightly bigger screw I had to
- 23:15 | change the stance on my grip but I’ll
- 23:19 | tell you right now I’m able to spin
- 23:23 | this like
- 23:25 | nicely it’s a great feeling screwdriver
- 23:28 | for driving for everything this right
- 23:30 | here that feels great it even though it
- 23:34 | feels like a downhill race
- 23:36 | here you’re you’re up here where you
- 23:39 | should be where the power zone is just
- 23:42 | like I tell you in all these screwdriver
- 23:47 | videos put the knipex on
- 23:52 | it no we we’ve got to we’ve got to
- 23:55 | actually grab down here for the knipex
- 23:58 | or even right here a lot of people might
- 24:00 | even do
- 24:02 | this to drive this screw I think I might
- 24:04 | have to do that actually because the
- 24:07 | handle on the kitback is just too
- 24:17 | small you can see the
- 24:20 | difference yeah so you you’ll see right
- 24:22 | now that I’m actually down here now um
- 24:26 | we can look back at the tape to see see
- 24:29 | exactly the fit but three three fingers
- 24:32 | is
- 24:34 | not the best feeling can I do it
- 24:38 | yes it’s definitely better to come down
- 24:41 | here we just cammed out a little
- 24:45 | bit is a lot
- 24:48 | harder we go with the
- 24:53 | Vera feels decent too but we’re down
- 24:56 | here we come back with this
- 24:59 | guy we stay on the thicker portion here
- 25:02 | we oh my gosh wow wow you get a lot of
- 25:11 | torque just here with just three fingers
- 25:14 | just three fingers we’ve got all that
- 25:18 | torque and I I knew it transferred the
- 25:20 | power really nicely but I didn’t
- 25:22 | understand it till I tried the other
- 25:26 | screwdrivers I know the weha trans rist
- 25:28 | torque nicely
- 25:30 | nope and then if we go to our client
- 25:34 | here I know this is a good screwdriver
- 25:36 | we can get it nice and tight we can also
- 25:39 | loosen it with two
- 25:40 | hands the the fit on it the grip the
- 25:44 | this is a
- 25:46 | uh it’s a wood screw basically and
- 25:50 | you’ve got good fitment here I think I
- 25:53 | made up a
- 25:55 | word and wow wow wow wow wow wow
- 25:59 | wow
- 26:02 | unmatched unmatched torque delivery
- 26:09 | here it feels better than the kin
- 26:11 | driving it it feels better than the kin

- 26:14 | does it’s definitely a more comfortable
- 26:16 | screwdriver it’s more ergonomic it
- 26:18 | delivers the torque
- 26:21 | transfer this right here I can’t stop

- 26:30 | screwdriver it needs to have a number

- 26:44 | out for the number one Phillips this one

- 27:47 | feels really nice look like in the back

- 28:04 | off of that more with the
- 28:08 | Klein go with the
- 28:11 | weha the fit is not as

- 28:21 | handle just a little bit small um it was
- 28:24 | fine but just not not not my favorite
- 28:29 | the knipex is actually very
- 28:37 | slippery complete delivery and torque
- 28:40 | there
- 28:42 | wow wow there’s no
- 28:49 | way and you see where the clle jumps out
- 28:51 | just a little bit just a little bit you
- 28:54 | maintain all your control and all your
- 28:57 | power stays in one spot because this
- 28:59 | thing slips and then you’ve got this
- 29:01 | going on
- 29:04 | Wow uh I do recommend
- 29:07 | this um mega Pro
