  • 0:00 | hello and welcome to another episode of
  • 0:02 | quick expert reviews today we’ve got the
  • 0:05 | pcp1 duo 4K and 1080p C so as usual
  • 0:12 | we’re going to start with the unboxing
  • 0:14 | to see what is actually in the Box
  • 0:16 | itself and then I’m going to show you
  • 0:18 | the installation of both dashcams the
  • 0:22 | front and the rear one the app control
  • 0:25 | voice control um and the actual footage
  • 0:28 | obviously from the camera from both
  • 0:30 | daytime and nighttime driving so these
  • 0:33 | are static stickers that help install
  • 0:36 | the dash cam to both front and rear um
  • 0:41 | window
  • 0:43 | windshield um we just peel it off again
  • 0:46 | I’ll show you when I’ll be installing
  • 0:48 | the dashcam um how it works we’ve got
  • 0:50 | some standard paperwork uh upgrade your
  • 0:54 | warranty um we’ve got a clove to clean
  • 0:57 | our wind screen and then we’ve got a
  • 1:00 | quite a thick manual actually which
  • 1:02 | comes in a few languages explains
  • 1:05 | everything how to set this up and so on
  • 1:07 | but like I said the purpose of this
  • 1:09 | video is to show you um how to do it
  • 1:12 | yourselves so in the accessories uh box
  • 1:17 | we’ve got quite a few accessories
  • 1:19 | actually uh
  • 1:21 | including
  • 1:23 | the actual charger now it is a pass
  • 1:26 | through charger meaning you do get a
  • 1:28 | full USB a a port on it so obviously if
  • 1:32 | you do use a charger to charge your
  • 1:34 | phone for example um and you’ve only got
  • 1:37 | one 12vt socket in your car um you can
  • 1:41 | plug it in and then plug in your phone
  • 1:43 | directly to this charger and then there
  • 1:45 | is a type c as well that goes into the
  • 1:47 | cam itself this is the rear facing
  • 1:50 | camera uh this is a prime tool some
  • 1:54 | clips as well to uh get the cabling nice
  • 1:58 | and neat around the carage
  • 2:00 | itself and then we’ve got the front
  • 2:04 | facing dashcam in this box itself do
  • 2:08 | bear in mind that both dashcams do have
  • 2:10 | a protective file on their lenses so
  • 2:13 | make sure you remove these before the
  • 2:15 | installation because obviously otherwise
  • 2:17 | the picture quality will be quite puns
  • 2:20 | to put it uh lightly okay so let’s uh
  • 2:25 | unwrap the actual uh C so you’ve a 3M
  • 2:30 | sticker on the bottom of the cam and one
  • 2:33 | typc port for it uh this you have to
  • 2:36 | peel off this is the actual visor um and
  • 2:39 | then like I said there is a sticker on
  • 2:41 | the front as well and then there is a
  • 2:44 | memory card on the side which is a nice
  • 2:46 | addition and it’s no small Feit because
  • 2:48 | it is a 64 gig internal memory well not
  • 2:52 | sorry not internal it’s a 64 gig um
  • 2:55 | memory card um so it’s nice that it is
  • 2:58 | supplied by py themselves uh because
  • 3:02 | it’s not always a given now the actual
  • 3:05 | Mount is quite sturdy and I have to
  • 3:07 | admit that um it’s nice because the dash
  • 3:12 | cam doesn’t rattle it doesn’t jump up or
  • 3:15 | down it’s very sturdy and then we’ve got
  • 3:18 | the record button on the back and like I
  • 3:20 | said the visor however you also do get
  • 3:23 | the app if you want to see what’s
  • 3:24 | actually being recorded which I will
  • 3:27 | show you in a second and this is the
  • 3:29 | real facing camera like I said there is
  • 3:31 | a protective file on the lens and then
  • 3:33 | there is an up Arrow which shows you how
  • 3:36 | to install the cam again I will show you
  • 3:38 | that in a second when I’ll be installing
  • 3:40 | the apps themselves and again uh you can
  • 3:43 | rotate it 360
  • 3:45 | 360° um if you want to um when you’re
  • 3:49 | going to install it now in terms of
  • 3:51 | connecting both front and rear camera um
  • 3:54 | all you have to do is follow the arrows
  • 3:56 | again on one and second connector you’ve
  • 3:59 | got one white arrow on the left and then
  • 4:02 | you’ve got let me close it in um an
  • 4:05 | arrow on the right and then all you do
  • 4:07 | is just connected and that’s it voila
  • 4:09 | that’s that’s that’s literally it that’s
  • 4:11 | how you connect both um
  • 4:13 | cameras and then we’ve got some clips as
  • 4:16 | well we’ve got a screwdriver these clips
  • 4:18 | do have small stickers on them as well
  • 4:22 | uh you can use these additional sticky
  • 4:24 | pads as
  • 4:26 | well right
  • 4:28 | so then another feature I wanted to
  • 4:31 | discuss is the security of the cam
  • 4:34 | itself so you can slide it to the right
  • 4:37 | and then you can hide the dash cam if
  • 4:39 | you want to if you for example live in a
  • 4:42 | dangerous area where someone might smash
  • 4:43 | your window and steal the camera however
  • 4:45 | the camera itself does actually when
  • 4:48 | it’s plugged in even if the car is off
  • 4:51 | Works 24 hours so when it disc well when
  • 4:53 | it sens as a bump it starts recording as
  • 4:56 | well um so we’re going to clean the
  • 4:59 | front windshield um wind screen and um
  • 5:03 | not windshield and um we’re going to
  • 5:06 | apply the static sticker now you do get
  • 5:09 | four stickers two for the front two for
  • 5:11 | the back so for example if you need to
  • 5:12 | replace it at some point I don’t know a
  • 5:15 | couple of years later you do get a spare
  • 5:18 | one for the front and a spare one for
  • 5:20 | the back so I’m just going to peel it
  • 5:23 | off and they are both marked uh front
  • 5:27 | and rear so the rear one is slightly
  • 5:30 | smaller because the dash cam for the
  • 5:31 | rear is actually uh well the the cam for
  • 5:34 | the rear the rear facing camera is
  • 5:37 | slightly smaller so we’re just going to
  • 5:39 | put it nicely so there are no bubbles or
  • 5:41 | anything like that and
  • 5:44 | then uh let’s grab the camera itself I’m
  • 5:47 | going to peel off um the sticker from
  • 5:52 | the 3M sticky pad and then I’m going to
  • 5:56 | attach it on my static sticker obviously
  • 5:59 | you don’t have to use the static sticker
  • 6:01 | it’s entirely up to you however um it’s
  • 6:04 | more secure this way and then if you
  • 6:07 | remember correctly you can slide the
  • 6:08 | camera to the left and then it nicely
  • 6:10 | pops out of the holder if you need to
  • 6:13 | hide it but like I did say if you want
  • 6:15 | to leave the camera in the car so it
  • 6:18 | records if someone bumps into you for
  • 6:19 | example at night or whatsoever when you
  • 6:22 | driving then you can do so um now we’re
  • 6:25 | going to type in well not type in plug
  • 6:27 | in the uh type c charge
  • 6:30 | uh end from the pelsey
  • 6:33 | charger and then I’m going to move to
  • 6:35 | the back and install the rear facing
  • 6:39 | camera as
  • 6:40 | well so that’s that let’s just make sure
  • 6:45 | we put it again nice and
  • 6:47 | neat and then let’s install the rear
  • 6:51 | facing dashcam now do better in mind and
  • 6:54 | do remember you need to have the yellow
  • 6:57 | arrow um pointing
  • 7:00 | upwards
  • 7:03 | so let’s do
  • 7:07 | that and that is pretty much it now like
  • 7:12 | I said the rear facing camera rotates
  • 7:14 | 360 degre so you can adjust it to your
  • 7:17 | liking depending on how it looks like
  • 7:20 | and then like I said you can plug it in
  • 7:22 | to well you have to plug it in to the
  • 7:24 | type-c charger that is at the front
  • 7:27 | which I did show you when I was doing
  • 7:28 | the unboxing and that’s it then you can
  • 7:31 | download the pelc cam which is available
  • 7:33 | on both Google Play Store and the Apple
  • 7:35 | App Store and then connect via Wi-Fi to
  • 7:38 | P1 Duo 013 or whatever it’s called and
  • 7:42 | then you can fire up the app the
  • 7:44 | password for the Wi-Fi is 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
  • 7:47 | 8 but you can change that later on which
  • 7:49 | I will show you in a second so in terms
  • 7:51 | of the settings via the app you’ve got
  • 7:53 | the sound recording option uh you can
  • 7:56 | change the resolution of the video Loop
  • 7:58 | the recording
  • 8:00 | duration uh light source frequency can
  • 8:02 | be changed from 50 to 60 HZ you can have
  • 8:05 | the time Watermark turned on turned off
  • 8:08 | wide dynamic range you can flip the
  • 8:11 | image for example uh you’ve got the
  • 8:13 | Collision detection Sensi sensitivity
  • 8:16 | for driving that you can adjust to your
  • 8:18 | liking automatic screen of time which
  • 8:20 | will still record the video it just
  • 8:22 | turns off the screen on the actual
  • 8:24 | dashcam itself change the date format
  • 8:27 | depending if you live in America for
  • 8:28 | example
  • 8:30 | um or in Europe if you can if you want
  • 8:32 | to you can change the 24hour clock to
  • 8:34 | 121 and then you can change the uh
  • 8:37 | password as well for the Wi-Fi itself
  • 8:40 | now when it comes to downloading the
  • 8:42 | footage you can obviously do so via
  • 8:45 | Wi-Fi wirelessly completely wirelessly
  • 8:47 | onto your phone or you can just remove
  • 8:48 | the memory card and slide it into your
  • 8:50 | laptop uh I prefer to do it over the
  • 8:52 | Wi-Fi when connected to the PC dashcam
  • 8:56 | so you’ve got all this footage one has
  • 8:59 | letter F which is front-facing camera
  • 9:01 | the other one has letter B which is the
  • 9:04 | uh backup well not the backup camera the
  • 9:06 | one at the back uh basically you’ve got
  • 9:09 | time stamps you can take screenshots uh
  • 9:12 | you can delete the footage or you can
  • 9:14 | just press download and it downloads
  • 9:16 | onto your phone I’m going to cancel it
  • 9:17 | now uh because I I will show you foot in
  • 9:19 | in a second the next cool thing is that
  • 9:22 | you can actually hear when the camera
  • 9:23 | turns
  • 9:26 | on start recording
  • 9:30 | turn off audio microphone is disabled
  • 9:33 | turn on audio microphone is enabled take
  • 9:37 | photo photo taken successfully and these
  • 9:41 | were voice commands so as you’ve heard
  • 9:44 | you can turn the microphone on you can
  • 9:46 | turn it off it’s on by default so
  • 9:49 | obviously if you have any sort of
  • 9:50 | private conversation in your car and you
  • 9:52 | don’t want the dash come to record these
  • 9:54 | conversations you can just say um turn
  • 9:57 | audio off and as you can see it even
  • 10:00 | recognizes my uh polish English accent
  • 10:03 | so Works quite well and um yeah so this
  • 10:06 | is the front facing footage uh which is
  • 10:09 | recorded in 4k with a time stamp and
  • 10:13 | then you’ve got rear now I’ve got smoked
  • 10:16 | rear uh windows so they are a bit darker
  • 10:21 | came like that from the factory so it’s
  • 10:23 | not might not look as clear as a
  • 10:26 | front-facing one but it’s only because
  • 10:28 | of my car’s rear windows really that are
  • 10:32 | slightly smoked but as you can see the
  • 10:34 | footage is still clear even though it’s
  • 10:36 | 1080p it’s actually pretty decent um and
  • 10:40 | obviously when it comes to daytime
  • 10:42 | driving um the the front-facing footage
  • 10:45 | is really good so yeah as you can see
  • 10:49 | this is how dark my rear um windows are
  • 10:53 | uh when it comes to nighttime driving
  • 10:55 | unfortunately here in the northwest of
  • 10:57 | England we do have quite a lot of rain
  • 11:00 | um so it might not look as crisp as the
  • 11:04 | front-facing camera only because it’s
  • 11:06 | constantly rains however it is still a
  • 11:10 | very good perfectly clear picture um I
  • 11:13 | am quite far away from the van at the
  • 11:15 | front however in my opinion the quality
  • 11:18 | is really good I mean if someone would
  • 11:21 | walk in front of my car or you know
  • 11:23 | someone would break harshly I could
  • 11:25 | definitely see that on the C itself and
  • 11:28 | this is the rear facing camera um that
  • 11:33 | is installed on the back again do
  • 11:35 | remember I’ve got pretty uh dark rear
  • 11:38 | windows and as you can see uh I can
  • 11:41 | still clearly see the uh registration
  • 11:45 | plate of the car behind me so yeah
  • 11:47 | thanks for watching another episode of
  • 11:48 | quick expert reviews and I’ll speak to
  • 11:50 | you soon bye
