- 0:00 | Alex here with another dasham review
- 0:02 | this time we’re taking a look at the red
- 0:03 | tiger F7 MP and I’m going to show you
- 0:06 | what you get inside of this kit as well
- 0:08 | as its features and the app and I’m also
- 0:10 | going to show you driving video that way
- 0:12 | we can see how well it actually
- 0:19 | performs and as always I have placed a
- 0:21 | link in the description down below to
- 0:23 | this dash cam in case you want to get
- 0:25 | one for yourself and in addition to the
- 0:27 | dash cam the kit includes a suction
- 0:29 | mount as well as a power adapter rear
- 0:33 | camera and rear camera extension cable
- 0:35 | and regarding the power cable it does
- 0:37 | include an extra USB port that way we
- 0:39 | can power the dash cam and also another
- 0:42 | device of our choice now let’s take a
- 0:43 | look at mounting the dash cam I’m going
- 0:45 | to Center this on a clean windshield and
- 0:48 | then I’m going to turn this to lock and
- 0:50 | the mount also supports quick this
- 0:52 | mounting and remounting let’s also look
- 0:55 | at the adjustment of wrench this is how
- 0:56 | far I can adjust the camera angle in
- 0:59 | this direction and this is how far I can
- 1:01 | adjust it in the other direction to
- 1:03 | accommodate for different windshields
- 1:05 | once I find the position that I like I
- 1:07 | can lock that in place and power button
- 1:09 | on the opposite side and the memory
- 1:11 | carvet which supports a maximum of 256
- 1:14 | GB of memory and the rear camera is
- 1:16 | meant to be installed on the inside of
- 1:18 | the vehicle with this double seted tape
- 1:21 | I can peel this back and attach it to
- 1:23 | the rear windshield also notice that the
- 1:24 | camera does support adjusting the view
- 1:27 | angle and additionally if I turn mount
- 1:29 | in this direction the camera could be
- 1:32 | mounted against the vertical
- 1:37 | surface and we are shown the front of
- 1:40 | the vehicle and in a smaller screen the
- 1:42 | rear camera pressing this button on the
- 1:44 | left hand side it’s going to switch the
- 1:46 | view so now the rear is here and the
- 1:48 | front is here tap in this one more time
- 1:50 | it’s going to show us the front one more
- 1:52 | time it’s going to switch to the rear
- 1:54 | and one more time brings up this kind of
- 1:56 | a screen saver with a compass mode
- 1:59 | tapping it one more time turns the
- 2:01 | screen off while the dash comom
- 2:02 | continues to record and tapping it one
- 2:05 | more time brings us back to the prior
- 2:06 | screen the top button right here that
- 2:08 | has a little lock icon allows us to flag
- 2:11 | the section that is currently being
- 2:13 | recorded as important that way we can
- 2:15 | find it later in the future and the
- 2:17 | button on the side allows us to take a
- 2:20 | snapshot but also holding this button
- 2:23 | down is going to stop the recording
- 2:25 | notice that we are no longer recording
- 2:28 | pressing this button holding it down one
- 2:30 | more time resumes recording and to play
- 2:33 | back the videos that is done with the
- 2:34 | center button and that is going to bring
- 2:36 | up the playback menu I’m going to select
- 2:38 | playback hit okay over here and what
- 2:41 | you’ll find is that the videos have been
- 2:43 | sorted out into folders normal videos
- 2:46 | urgent videos we can potentially include
- 2:48 | car crashes and also any photos that we
- 2:50 | have taken now there is another set of
- 2:53 | folders in the bottom and those are for
- 2:55 | the rear camera that’s why they have an
- 2:56 | R versus the ones on the top which say F
- 2:59 | which means front but let’s go inside
- 3:01 | one of the folders I’m going to select
- 3:03 | this one and I’m going to go and look
- 3:05 | for the file that I want to play Let’s
- 3:06 | play this guy right here we going to hit
- 3:08 | okay and then tapping this one more time
- 3:11 | begins to play back the video I can also
- 3:13 | hold this button down to delete the
- 3:16 | current video delete all videos or
- 3:18 | protect the video by locking it or
- 3:20 | unlocking it but now let’s take a look
- 3:22 | at the settings of the dash cam the
- 3:25 | first one is going to be resolution and
- 3:27 | here we get two choices running the
- 3:29 | front at 4 K while the rear stays at
- 3:31 | 1080P or running the front at 1440p
- 3:34 | while the rear stays at 1080p if you
- 3:36 | want it to fit more onto your memory
- 3:38 | card we can also select whether we want
- 3:40 | audio to be recorded along with video or
- 3:43 | not recorded whether we want a DAT stamp
- 3:46 | to be shown on the video and also the g
- 3:49 | sensor is fully adjustable low medium
- 3:51 | and high sensitivity this is what allows
- 3:53 | the dashcam to attempt to detect when
- 3:55 | you get into a car crash or we can turn
- 3:57 | that sensor off all together we we also
- 4:00 | get a fatigue reminder in case we wanted
- 4:02 | to be notified to take a break after
- 4:03 | driving a specific period of time and we
- 4:06 | can also select whether we want our
- 4:08 | speed to be recorded or not recorded and
- 4:11 | whether we want our GPS coordinates to
- 4:13 | be recorded or not recorded moving over
- 4:16 | to the next spatial settings the speed
- 4:18 | units are adjustable between kilomet per
- 4:20 | hour to miles per hour and the rear
- 4:23 | camera can also be adjusted both
- 4:25 | vertically and we can also flip it
- 4:28 | horizontally there’s also a shortcut to
- 4:30 | download the app and a shortcut to turn
- 4:33 | on or off the wifi now let’s take a look
- 4:36 | at the languages that are included in
- 4:38 | the dash cam in case we wanted to change
- 4:40 | it from the default one and there’s
- 4:42 | quite a bit to choose from moving over
- 4:43 | to the next page of settings here’s so
- 4:45 | we can customize the dash cam as far as
- 4:48 | our time zone whether we have daylight
- 4:50 | savings time enabl and also whether we
- 4:53 | want that beeping that you hear I can
- 4:55 | turn this off turning this off also
- 4:58 | turns off the audio
- 5:00 | chime that you hear when the dashcam
- 5:01 | turns on or off we also get a screen
- 5:04 | saver where the dashcam can turn off the
- 5:07 | screen after a certain period of time
- 5:09 | and continue recording and for parking
- 5:12 | monitoring the optional Hardware kit is
- 5:14 | required to enable it and we get impact
- 5:17 | detection or time-lapse monitoring and
- 5:19 | we get three options for time lapse 12
- 5:21 | hours 24 hours or up to 48 hours of
- 5:25 | time-lapse monitoring and there’s a
- 5:27 | couple other options that are
- 5:28 | convenience options on this dash cam
- 5:30 | such as a reminder to format your memory
- 5:33 | card every so often the actual
- 5:35 | formatting function and also the ability
- 5:38 | to test the speed of the memory card
- 5:40 | that has been installed but now let’s
- 5:42 | take a look at the app and the app is
- 5:44 | called red tiger and it is available for
- 5:47 | Apple and Android devices and as you can
- 5:49 | see we are shown a live view coming from
- 5:51 | the dash cam however we can also be
- 5:54 | shown a larger view if we show it on
- 5:57 | this landscape mode and there is also a
- 6:00 | little icon here that allows us to
- 6:03 | switch from the different views that are
- 6:05 | available to us there’s also this
- 6:07 | interesting icon that flips the image
- 6:10 | horizontally in case you wanted to do so
- 6:12 | for some reason and there is also this
- 6:15 | icon right here that allows us to
- 6:17 | temporarily mute the microphone or
- 6:19 | reenable the microphone using the app
- 6:22 | and there’s a couple more icons that
- 6:24 | allows us to control the dash cam this
- 6:26 | one right here will stop the recording
- 6:28 | notice that the recording has stop and
- 6:31 | also tapping this icon right here will
- 6:33 | resume recording one more time
- 6:36 | additionally this icon right here is
- 6:38 | just like the one that we did on the
- 6:39 | dash cam it just takes a snapshot and
- 6:42 | this icon right here allows us to go
- 6:44 | into playback mode now you’ll find that
- 6:46 | again the videos have been sorted out
- 6:48 | into several folders the loop folder is
- 6:51 | normal video of us potentially just
- 6:52 | driving around maybe nothing exciting
- 6:54 | happened there and notice that there’s a
- 6:56 | little letter next to each clip that
- 6:58 | letter says f so that’s the front camera
- 7:00 | this one says R so that is the rear
- 7:02 | camera and the next folder is for any
- 7:05 | pictures that we might have taken and
- 7:07 | finally we get a lock folder for any
- 7:08 | videos that we have flagged or that the
- 7:10 | dash cam has flagged as important we can
- 7:13 | also use the select option to be able to
- 7:16 | pick multiple videos for download or to
- 7:19 | delete them but let’s play a video back
- 7:21 | I’m going to tap down one and the video
- 7:23 | is going to begin to play back notice
- 7:26 | that we can also flip that if we wanted
- 7:29 | to to see it on a larger screen we can
- 7:31 | also download the video to our phone for
- 7:33 | safekeeping take a screenshot or delete
- 7:36 | the video moving over to this last icon
- 7:38 | allows us to enter into the dashcam
- 7:40 | settings now unfortunately not all the
- 7:43 | dashcam settings can be changed from the
- 7:45 | app some of them have to be changed
- 7:47 | directly on the dash cam but we do have
- 7:50 | probably the most common options that
- 7:51 | are changed I do hope to see red tiger
- 7:54 | increase the number of options that we
- 7:56 | can access via the app but now let’s
- 7:58 | take a look at some driving video
- 8:00 | including the audio test so we can see
- 8:02 | how well this Dash Gom actually performs
- 8:05 | and this is an audio test of the red
- 8:06 | tiger F7 MP and I am sitting on the
- 8:09 | driver side seat and this is an audio
- 8:12 | test of the red tiger F7 MP and I am
- 8:15 | standing outside the driver’s side door
- 8:24 | [Music]
- 8:41 | [Music]
- 8:56 | I
- 8:57 | want I want
- 8:59 | [Music]
- 9:09 | keep
- 9:16 | [Music]
- 9:28 | [Music]
- 9:38 | [Music]
- 9:47 | [Music]
- 10:57 | [Music]
- 11:11 | [Music]
- 11:40 | now the f7n series dash cams are offered
- 11:44 | in a couple different variants this
- 11:45 | which happens to be the MP variant has
- 11:48 | the suction Mount and has that
- 11:50 | internally mounted camera now normally
- 11:52 | mounting the rear camera on the interior
- 11:54 | of the vehicle simplifies installation
- 11:57 | same thing with the suction mount it it
- 11:59 | allows me to put the dash cam somewhere
- 12:01 | if I don’t like it I can remove that and
- 12:03 | move it over but if you are looking for
- 12:06 | something more permanent something like
- 12:07 | an Adhesive Mount there is a version of
- 12:10 | that one that does not use a suction
- 12:12 | Mount and it also uses a rear camera
- 12:16 | that can be placed outside of the
- 12:17 | vehicle because it’s waterproof if
- 12:19 | that’s the one you’re looking for I put
- 12:20 | the full review video in the description
- 12:22 | down below along with a link to this
- 12:24 | dash cam in case you want to get one for
- 12:26 | yourself and if you guys have any other
- 12:28 | questions regarding this please put that
- 12:29 | in the comments also if you found any
- 12:31 | part of this video helpful make sure you
- 12:33 | hit the like button to support the
- 12:34 | channel and stay tuned as I have a lot
- 12:36 | more dasham reviews coming up thank you
- 12:39 | guys for watching and as always I’ll see
- 12:40 | you on the next one
